There are lots of ways you can get involved in the ministry of the church. The most important way is for you to live an up, in, and out lifestyle where you already are—in your workplace, your neighborhood, your family, and the places you go and with the people you interact with every day. At Crestwood, we encourage everyone to love one, serve one, and pray for one in your everyday life.
Beyond a lifestyle of ministry, we also encourage you to become involved in the ministries of our congregation.
CVKids Ministry (age birth-5th grade): In CVkids, our children learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him. Our goal is to partner with parents to lead the next generation to become fully devoted followers of Christ who make disciples.
Crestwood Youth (6th-12th grade): Our teens learn to make disciples through life-on-life discipleship and times of planned training and equipping. The Youth Group meets weekly on Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30pm to worship together and experience God in a teen-friendly and relevant way.
Sozo Ministry: Sozo is the Greek word for “saved, healed, delivered.” The goal of a Sozo is to help people receive the whole package of salvation, deliverance, and healing. Our aim is to love people and to provide information so that the healing of past wounds can break strongholds, replace lies with truth, and close “doors” to the enemy. Visit crestwoodvineyard.org/sozo for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Route 12: Route 12 is a working guide for healing wounded hearts and confronting the addictions and afflictions that may assail us, emphasizing self-understanding, personal responsibility, and the unfailing love of Jesus Christ. Route 12 meets at our church facility on Wednesdays 7-9pm.
Ministry Team: Our ministry team serves during our Sunday morning worship services to pray for and minister to anyone who requests prayer. All ministry team members are equipped in healing ministry, prophetic ministry, and basic ministry skills.
Neighborhood Engagement: We believe God placed us strategically in the heart of Oklahoma City in the Crestwood neighborhood. The neighborhoods surrounding our facility should be improved because of our church’s presence there. We do this by engaging in outreach activities on a weekly basis. We also partner with Hawthorne Elementary School to serve the children and families in our area.
Alabanza – Uniting Cultures: Our desire is to honor God and to reach the Hispanic community. We meet every Sunday with free Spanish and English classes 4:00-5:00 pm, fellowship and food (everyone bring something to eat) 5:00-6:30 pm, and Spanish services with bilingual worship 6:30-8:00pm. During the services we will learn about God’s word, there will be ministration, prayers for salvation, healing, deliverance, and testimonies.
International missions: Crestwood partners with ministries and local churches in South Africa, India, Europe, and Brazil to advance God’s kingdom and strengthen the local churches by sending ministry teams on short-term trips to those countries.
Prayer and Worship Ministries
Intercessory Prayer: We feel God calling us to rally and support what God is doing through prayer. Prayer Culture meets on Wednesdays 6-8pm and is a place where we can partner with everything God is doing in our midst. We also gather for prayer on Sunday mornings at 9:30-10:15am.
Worship and Tech Teams: Worship is a central part of life in the kingdom of God. In addition to serving our community through worship ministry on Sunday mornings and at other gatherings throughout the week, we also host monthly worship nights.
We strive to make Crestwood Vineyard a safe and welcoming environment. That only happens through the help of the many people who care for our facility and serve as greeters, security, ushers, and coffee room attendants. If you would like to join one of our host ministry teams, please contact us.
We believe that an equipped church is a church that can change a city. Because of that, we offer various equipping opportunities throughout the year on a number of topics, ranging from family life to learning to grow in the power of the Holy Spirit and everything we need to lead a godly life (2 Peter 1:3). Equip events include seminars, conferences, Sunday school or evening classes, and summer camps. See Upcoming Events.
