Welcome. Our mission at Crestwood Vineyard is to equip disciples in an UP, IN, and OUT lifestyle.

We are honored to welcome you to the Crestwood Vineyard family. Whether you consider yourself a member of our congregation or are just trying to find out a little bit more about who we are, it is our honor to come alongside you as you seek to discover more about Jesus, grow in faith, or partner with Him in His mission.

Our mission at Crestwood Vineyard is to equip disciples in an UP, IN, and OUT lifestyle. We do this UPward as we develop intimacy with the Father through worship, Word, and prayer; INward as we develop community and care for one another through transformed lives as we follow Christ; and OUTward as we embrace the kingdom in the power of the Holy Spirit and engage the world with the message and demonstration of the good news of the gospel. We engage in this mission as a lifestyle as we gather in corporate worship and individually, in small groups, one-on-one, and in neighborhoods and nations.

As you explore a little more about who we are and what role God may have for you in our community, we invite you to join us, get involved, and ask questions. The best way to learn specific details about our ministries or to contact us directly is through our website, crestwoodvineyard.org.

Blessings to you,
Brian and Jeanine Blount

Who We Are

We believe in the lordship and the supremacy of Jesus, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the authority of the Bible, and the commissioning of the church to fulfill Christ’s mission on earth. We see Jesus’ teaching on the kingdom of God as the overarching and integrating theme of the Scriptures—where God’s beautiful future is breaking into our present experience. Our full statement of faith can be found at vineyardusa.org/about/core-values-beliefs.

Mission and Practices

Our mission is to equip disciples in an up, in, and out lifestyle. At Crestwood Vineyard, we engage in the twelve practices of the early church as seen in Acts 2:36-47. The 12 practices are:

  • Sharing the gospel
  • Repentance
  • Baptism
  • Holy Spirit
  • Teaching
  • Community
  • Communion
  • Prayer
  • Signs and wonders
  • Giving
  • Worship
  • Raising up disciples

These 12 practices flow out of an up, in, and out lifestyle.

Our goal is to equip every believer to not only engage in the 12 practices of a disciple, but to be equipped to lead others in those practices in accordance with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20.

Everyone Love One, Serve One, Pray for One

We believe everyone is called to love one, serve one, and pray for one. We recognize that this is the most effective way for people to encounter Jesus and to see people, families, cities, and nations reached for the gospel. At Crestwood Vineyard, we encourage everyone to look for the one person in front of you as you go about your everyday life in your workplace, your neighborhood, in the places you go and with the people you interact with every day.

This can be done in a number of ways. Some people may choose to intentionally love one, pray for one, and serve one every day. Others may love one, serve one, and pray for one person a week. Others may choose to invest an entire year into loving one, serving one, and praying for one person or family over a long period of time. As we see the one in front of us, we simply chose to love, serve, and pray for them as we put Jesus on display with love and power.

Everyone Gets to Play

John Wimber, the founder of the Vineyard movement, often utilized the phrase “everyone gets to play,” meaning every disciple is not only allowed, but is also equipped and expected to engage in the ministry of Jesus.

This is manifested in 3 specific ways at Crestwood Vineyard:

  • We equip all followers of Jesus to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit to see the kingdom of God advanced in and through them as a part of their every day lifestyle.
  • We encourage both women and men to serve and grow in every area of church involvement and leadership. We do not restrict leadership at any level to one gender.
  • We seek to become a diverse church that reflects the varied ethnic, economic, and generational differences found in our neighborhood and throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.

Three Expressions of Church

Church comes in many shapes and sizes, and at Crestwood Vineyard, we choose to engage in three distinct expressions of church life: Sunday worship services, 1Cor14 gatherings, and Jesus Groups.

We gather for our corporate services on Sunday mornings at 10:30am at our church building located at 2515 NW 16th St. in Oklahoma City. Every Sunday, you can expect three components: worship, teaching from the Bible, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. CV Kids serves children 5th grade and younger during our Sunday services. Expect a casual atmosphere with casual dress, and also expect to encounter the presence of God.

These mid-sized gatherings happen at least twice a month in homes and in various locations around the OKC metro area. 1Cor14 meetings are fashioned after 1 Corinthians 14:26-33 in which every person is encouraged to bring something to the gathering. We all bring food to share in a potluck dinner together, and we all bring a spiritual gift to share with each other, such as a prophetic word, a scripture, or a prayer. 1Cor14 is a place you can encounter Jesus, deepen relationships with others, and grow in spiritual gifts in a safe environment. Dates and locations for upcoming 1Cor14 gatherings can be found on our website. All are welcome, regardless of where you are on your faith journey.

We call our small groups at Crestwood Vineyard “Jesus Groups” because they are all about Jesus. We seek to know Jesus, become more like Jesus, and live like Jesus lived with love and power. Our Jesus Groups focus on living an up, in, and out lifestyle and are a training ground to grow in the 12 practices of Christ found in Acts 2:36-47. Most of our Jesus groups meet in homes, and they happen at various times throughout the week. Click the button below for times and locations.
